the coast

we got back yesterday from four full, beautiful days on the coast. we had a great time! here are a few pics from the trip.

the golden gate bridge. we had great view of it all morning, then drove across the bridge and within minutes the bridge was deep inside a cloud.

and we saw a lot of seals and sea lions lazing around

downtown san francisco.

we ate in several restaurants with great views...eating salmon while watching seals frolic in the water was a highlight, as well as eating clam chowder out of sourdough bread bowls while admiring the golden gate bridge. 

we're all extra tired today and recovering from our busy few days of traveling. it was fun to be together, to see so many things i had heard about but never actually seen, and to have new adventures. it was a good one.
