love - "mommy, did you know that guinea pigs hatch from eggs?"
me - "actually, guinea pigs don't hatch from eggs. they come out of their mommies tummies."
love - "mommy? i wish you could have a guinea pig in your tummy and it could pop out."
I keep going back and reading your very moving poem about your Dad. It makes me so sad. But then, as a remedy, I read the guinea pig story again. That makes me chuckle and reminds me that I have so much to be thankful for--all of you. I can't wait to see you in just a few days! Love, Mom
